Haryana cop sent will, suicide note to wife day before death; ignored 15 calls by her

Senior Haryana IPS officer, Y Puran Kumar, who shot himself dead at his home in Chandigarh on October 7, drafted a will the day before and sent that along with the 9-page suicide note to his wife, senior IAS officer, Amneet P Kumar. Upon receiving them, Amneet, who was in Japan on official duty at the time, called her husband as many as 15 times in a state of panic; however, none was answered. Then, she rang up their younger daughter, who rushed home from shopping before finding her father lifeless on a recliner in the basement.
