US President Donald Trump praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi in an interview with News18’s sister publication Moneycontrol, describing him as a close friend and signalling progress on bilateral negotiations.
“I have great respect for your Prime Minister. He’s a fantastic man and a friend of mine," Trump said.
