Heavy rains: Holiday for schools, colleges in Karnataka’s Kodagu on July 25

Schools, anganwadis, and colleges in Karnataka’s Kodagu district will remain closed on Friday, July 25, in view of heavy rains in the district.

Deputy Commissioner Venkataraja on Thursday declared holiday for schools, anganwadis, and PU colleges on Friday as a precautionary measure following a forecast of heavy downpour.

The monsoon has become active once again in the district, with many areas witnessing moderate to heavy rainfall.
