single-seat variant
. This new trim will set you back by Rs 1 lakh, ex-showroom. This means that it will sit right between the base
split-seat
IBS version (Rs 98,425) and the split-seat
ABS model
(Rs 1.02 lakh).This is the first time the sporty commuter has been offered with a one-piece seat. As a result, it is now expected to offer enhanced practicality and everyday comfort, especially for riders who often have a pillion.
Hero Xtreme 125R: Key details you need to know
Mechanically, nothing has changed. The bike continues to use the 124.7cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that produces 11.4 bhp and 10.5 Nm, paired to a five-speed gearbox. This is the same motor that also does its duty on the newly-launched Glamour X. As for other key details, the model uses telescopic forks up front and a rear monoshock for suspension duties. Stopping power comes from a disc-drum setup with an ABS and a non-ABS trim on offer.
