Nayanthara shared the poster on her Instagram handle and hinted that more exciting updates are on the way. On the poster, there is a brief message stating, "Sweet surprise coming your way," making fans wonder what surprise the team would reveal.

Although the film's team did not disclose what other surprises awaited the audience, the mere hint in the teaser has already created a stir about the new project. Fans immediately flooded the comments with heart emojis and messages expressing their excitement.

The film marks Vishnu Edavan’s directorial debut

'Hi' is directed by debutant Vishnu Edavan, who earlier worked as an assistant director with Lokesh Kanagaraj. Vishnu Edavan is also known for writing lyrics for popular songs such as 'Badass' from 'Leo,' 'Porkonda Singam' from 'Vikram,' and 'Polakattum Para Para' from 'Master.' The film’s music is composed by Jen Martin. The technical team also includes cinematographer Rajesh Shukla, editor Philomin Raj, art director B Sekar, and stunt choreographer Dinesh Kasi.
