Hyundai Creta Electric
SUV with new variants, additional features, improved range, new colour options, and slight price revisions. According to the company, these updates are designed to give customers wider options and enhanced value when considering the Creta Electric. Interested customers can book the EV online or by visiting their nearest Hyundai dealership, deliveries are expected to begin soon. Hyundai
has expanded the Creta Electric portfolio by adding three fresh variants - Executive Tech 42kWh, Excellence 42kWh, and Executive (O) 51.4kWh. Among these, the Executive (O) is now the most affordable way to access the larger 51.4kWh battery option, the Excellence serves as the top-spec trim for the 42kWh configuration, while the Executive Tech slots just above the base model. In addition to the new introductions, prices across much of the existing line-up have been revised upward. Hyundai has also streamlined the range by discontinuing the 42kWh Smart and Smart (O) variants. Below are the detailed variants with price.
Talking about the battery and range, Hyundai has also revised the claimed driving range for the Creta Electric. The 42kWh battery pack now delivers 420 km (up from 390 km). The larger 51.4kWh unit rises to 510 km (from 473 km). This translates to an increase of nearly 7.8% for both packs, which should reflect in better real-world efficiency. Importantly, the power and torque outputs remain unchanged, ensuring the same performance as before.
In terms of features, all variants now come with a wired-to-wireless adapter with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The Excellence 42kWh and 51.4kWh trims gain additional kit in the form of a dashcam and rear wireless charger. Meanwhile, the Premium variant has been upgraded with vegan leather upholstery, ventilated front seats, and an 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat.
