'I'm already married to her in my heart,' says Aamir Khan as he moves in with girlfriend Gauri Spratt at a plush new home in Mumbai

Aamir Khan made relationship official with Gauri Spratt in March last year on his 60th birthday. During an intimate media interaction in Mumbai, Aamir revealed that the two had known each other for over two decades before reconnecting.

“We met accidentally, kept in touch, and it all happened organically,” he explained, adding that they had rekindled their bond around a year and a half earlier. The couple is often spotted together making joint appearances at various events hand-in-hand. While Aamir had earlier revealed that Gauri is from Bengaluru, a latest report revealed that the duo have now moved in together at a plus new residence in Mumbai.Aamir confirmed the news during an interaction with Bollywood Hungama.

When asked about moving in together, Aamir told the portal, "This is happening right in the middle of my production Happy Patel being released. So, it’s madness." While confirming that the relationship is strong and serious, the actor made it clear that marriage is not on the immediate agenda. He shared that emotionally, he already feels deeply committed to Gauri, though he hasn’t yet decided whether to make it official.

“Gauri and I are really serious about each other and we are in a very committed space. And we are, you know, we are partners. We are together. Marriage is something, I mean, in my heart, I’m already married to her.

So whether we formalise it or not is something that, you know, I will decide as we go along,” Aamir said.Gauri, who is a mother to a six-year-old son, has previously shared that she was looking for someone gentle and intelligent, qualities she found in Aamir.

She is now also professionally associated with his production house, bringing their personal and work lives closer together.Aamir has been married twice earlier. He married Reena Dutta 1986, even before he made his debut and the couple had two children, Ira Khan and Junaid Khan, before parting ways in 2002. In 2005, he married filmmaker Kiran Rao, with whom he shares a son, Azad, born via surrogacy. Aamir and Kiran announced their separation in 2021. Despite the changes in his personal life, Aamir continues to share warm and respectful relationships with both his ex-wives.
