LeBron James and his wife Savannah James are proud parents to their three talented kids. From managing an NBA wife's duties to introducing her own luxury skincare line Reframe Beauty, Savannah James is a one woman army.

During an interview with reputed media outlet Essence, Savannah revealed she is not a helicopter mom for a very significant reason.

Savannah James and NBA icon LeBron James have already set a great parenting standard. With their eldest Bronny James going full stream into the world of NBA, LeBron James' life comes full circle. During an interview with popular media outlet Essence in October 2023, Savannah James opened up one of the most significant aspects of parenting.

According to a confession made by the podcaster, she hates being a helicopter mom around her kids.

She said, “So, as they’ve gotten older now, I feel like having done it with Bronny and Bryce, and Bronny and Zhuri having a 10-year age gap, it kind of comes a little bit more second nature as opposed to me being 18 and just starting out and making sure I set that ground and foundation for myself to be able to raise quality human beings.

It’s come a lot easier with her.”

While talking about how she completely hates being a control freak and over protective around her kids, Savannah said, “So, I feel like you said, with Bronny going away to college and Bryce being right there as a junior in high school and Zhuri is now nine years old, a fresh nine years old, they have a good grasp of what our family dynamic is and what is expected of them. So, I don’t feel like I have to be a helicopter mom per se and I’m able to go out and just act on my passions and to put my foot out into new things that interest me.

So I think that it’s mostly that, just knowing that the groundwork has been laid and I feel good about the position that I’ve left them in.

”LeBron James and Savannah were childhood sweethearts. The Reframe Beauty owner even welcomed her first child Bronny, when she was just a teenager. The celebrity couple love talking about their kids on podcasts and interviews. Their eldest son Bronny James has officially made an entry into the Los Angeles Lakers club alongside his dad, whereas Bryce James is currently representing the Arizona Wildcats and daughter Zhuri is following her passion for volleyball.
