Ibrahimpatnam Revenue Inspector in ACB net

The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Wednesday (May 28) arrested Ibrahimpatnam Revenue Inspector G. Krishna for demanding and accepting a bribe of ₹12 lakh from the complainant.

According to the ACB, the bribe was demanded for adding seven guntas of land in the name of the complainant’s father in the Pattadar pass book concerning survey number 355 of Adibatla village, Ibrahimpatnam. Moreover, the accused is said to have influenced higher officials at both the MRO and RDO offices to ensure swift movement and approval of the relevant file.

Following his arrest, the accused official was produced before the special court for SPE and ACB cases at Nampally, Hyderabad. Further investigation into the matter is under way.
