IIM Ranchi Launches State-of-the-Art Finance Lab for Experiential Learning and Research

Ranchi: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ranchi has come up with a finance lab aimed at supporting experiential learning and research in finance and allied areas. Located on the second floor of the Kanhu Block, the lab has been set up with access to multiple financial databases and analytical tools used in academic and professional research, officials said on Sunday.These include platforms such as Bloomberg, LSEG (Refinitiv), CMIE Prowess, Stata, MAXQDA and Python-based applications. According to institute officials, the lab houses 12 Bloomberg terminals along with 20 all-in-one workstations. According to officials, the facility is expected to be used as a common academic resource for teaching, student projects and research work.
