Amitabh Bachchan's grandson Agastya Nanda's big-screen debut, 'Ikkis', is all set to hit theaters on January 1, 2025. It will be the final film of the late legendary actor, Dharmendra. Amidst the buzz around the war drama, a report of the veteran actor shooting for a song sequence is doing the rounds on the internet.

Dharmendra's song sequence in 'Ikkis'
According to the Mid Day report, the song was filmed in Pune in May 2024. It will feature Dharmendra and Jaideep Ahlawat. The sequence will showcase the veteran actor's character going for his college reunion. A source told the publication that the song will be played in the background initially with visuals of Dharmendra meeting his old friends. "Then it moves to the foreground as his friends get him to the dance floor and he shakes a leg. It’s a fantastic moment!"In the movie, the college has been shown to be in Lahore, though it was actually shot in Pune.
Dharmendra was awake till 4 am till the song shoot was completed
Meanwhile, choreographer Vijay Ganguly opened up about working on the song with the cinema legend. He told the publication that "shooting with Dharmendra was amazing, as he was vibrant and full of life. He was awake till we completed the song at 4 am.”
More about 'Ikkis'
The film is based on the life of PVC Arun Khetrapal, who laid down his life for the nation at the age of 21. Directed by Sriram Ragahavan, the film was scheduled to release in theaters on December 25, 2025. However, since Aditya Dhar's 'Dhurandhar' is showing no signs of stopping at the box office, the makers shifted the release date. Producer
