Heavy rain lashed Hyderabad on Thursday evening, leading to waterlogging on the roads and massive traffic snarls at various places in the city. The Met Centre of IMD forecasts light to moderate rain or thundershowers and intense spells at times, accompanied by gusty winds are likely in parts of the city towards evening or night on August 8.
The water level of the Yamuna River in Delhi rose to 204.79 metres at 7 am on Thursday (August 7, 2025), crossing the warning mark of 204.50 metres and reaching the highest level of the season so far, officials said.
The monsoon fury continues to batter Himachal Pradesh, severely disrupting essential services and claiming more lives.
