Indian Railways new time table 2026: The Ministry of Railways is set to release the new timetable, ‘Trains at a Glance 2026’, soon. The updated train schedule will come into effect from January 1, 2026, marking the 46th edition of Trains at a Glance.

The new train timetable, ‘Trains at a Glance 2026’, will offer detailed and updated information on the routes and timings of key passenger trains, including premium services. It is also expected to include a wide range of rail travel details, such as reservation procedures, travel rules and regulations, passenger amenities available on trains and at stations – including catering services, menu types and rates – as well as information on rail-based tourism.
The new timetable will be designed to enhance connectivity between various cities and reduce travel time. However, the passengers are advised to check the departure and arrival timings as per the new time table and also on NTES.

All India Railway time table book 2026
Indian Railways’ new time table book will feature:
- Complete information of the schedules of more than 1400 trains
- Fare chart of each class of train per kilometre
- Information about reservation and cancellation of tickets
- Information about various passenger amenities and facilities on trains and at station
- Information about rules and regulation of train travel
- Addition of Vande Bharat, Amrit Bharat, Namo Bharat Rapid Rail trains launched this year
