IndiGo flight operations at Delhi Airport are facing delays on Friday due to a temporary outage in the AMSS system of the Airport Authority of India — a key network used for pre-flight and in-flight communication between Air Traffic Control and airlines.

According to an official statement by the airlines on X,"Flight operations at Delhi are currently experiencing delays due to the temporary AMSS outage of Airport Authority of India, which is the backbone of preflight and inflight communication between ATC and Airlines."

The airlines acknowledged the inconvenience faced by passengers, adding,"We understand that extended wait times—both at the airport and onboard—can be uncomfortable."

IndiGo assured that it is working to ensure a smooth journey.

“Please be assured that our crew and ground teams are actively assisting and doing their best to make your wait as smooth as possible," it said.

It further advised passengers to check for real-time flight information on the IndiGo website or mobile app, saying, “We sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding."
