Indore's dancing cop admitted to a private hospital with chest pain
INDORE: The city's well-known 'dancing cop', Ranjit Singh, was admitted to a private hospital on Friday after he complained of chest pain. Singh, who gained popularity for managing traffic with his dance moves, was sent to police lines a day earlier following serious allegations made against him by a young woman through viral videos.
Police sources said Singh's condition deteriorated after he returned from meeting senior officers to present his side of the matter.The controversy began when a woman, operating an Instagram account, released videos alleging that Ranjit Singh sent her inappropriate messages, asked her to visit Indore, offered to arrange flight tickets, and promised accommodation. She said his approach made her uncomfortable, prompting her to publicly object on social media. In her videos, she clearly stated that she did not want his friendship and asked him to 'stay within limits.'Sources close to Singh said that he may soon file a complaint against the woman.
