Conor McGregor has surprised fans again. The UFC star was seen wearing what looked like a wedding ring while speaking in Rome this week. The 37-year-old fighter said he has been on a “spiritual journey” and claimed he is now “saved” and “healed by God.

” This comes only months after he lost his appeal in a civil rape case and was ordered by the court in Dublin to pay €250,000 to the woman, Nikita Hand. Fans are now asking if he is secretly already married to longtime partner Dee Devlin.


Conor McGregor and Dee Devlin’s 16-year relationship

Conor McGregor and Dee Devlin have been together since 2008, long before he became famous. They share four children and are engaged in 2020, but they have never officially confirmed a wedding date. While speaking in Rome to promote the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship ahead of Saturday’s event, McGregor referred to Devlin as his “fiancée, wife-to-be soon,” but his visible ring made fans think it may have already happened.

Dee Devlin, 38, has stood with him through every controversy in his career. Conor McGregor said, “I live my life by God’s word… I am saved, I am healed.” He said he feels a strong competitive fire again ahead of his planned return at the UFC White House event next June.

He has not fought since July 2021, when he lost to Dustin Poirier at UFC 264. BKFC president David Feldman said, “You’re going to see the best Conor McGregor you’ve ever seen.”

Conor McGregor’s ban, court loss and future comeback plans

Conor McGregor recently accepted an 18-month ban for violating the UFC Anti-Doping Policy. His ban officially began on 20 September 2024, which means he can return after 20 March 2026. That timing still keeps him free to compete if UFC goes ahead with a rumored fight card at Donald Trump’s White House next June.In July, three judges from the Court of Appeal in Dublin rejected all five grounds of Conor McGregor’s appeal after he was found liable for assaulting Nikita Hand at a Dublin hotel in 2018. He denied wrongdoing and said the encounter was consensual.
