Scottie Pippen, the 60 year old NBA legend’s controversial divorce with his ex wife, Larsa Pippen, dominated headlines for years as many fans accused her of infidelity.While Larsa Pippen has always denied such rumors, she has opened up about why her relationship with Michael Jordan’s son, Marcus Jordan, ended in 2024.

A few months ago, Larsa Pippen spoke to PEOPLE where she confirmed that she ended things with Marcus Jordan because of her children.

The Real Housewives of Miami’s star said, “It wasn't one thing…We broke up a few times, and my kids knew that the situation was not going to work itself out.”The popular reality TV star added, “It was not the right situation for me, and I think once my kids saw it — I knew it, but it was hard for me to admit it — and I think once I had that conversation with my kids and they were just like, ‘It's done,’ then I was like, ‘Okay.’

These are my children. They understand what's going on.”Scottie Pippen’s ex wife, Larsa Pippen, continued, “I think I was going to break up with him anyway…It just made it easier when someone literally puts it in your face and they're like, ‘I don't think you can be with this person anymore.’”

While Michael Jordan’s son, Marcus Jordan, has remained silent about Larsa Pippen’s controversial remarks, the popular reality TV star has already moved on in her life.
