Red Bull driver Max Verstappen clinched the Italian Grand Prix crown on Sunday, as the four-time reigning world champion produced a remarkable showing to hold off McLaren’s Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri.
The Dutchman, who started the race from pole after having set the fastest lap in F1 history when taking top spot on the grid on Saturday, slowed down the McLaren racers’ charge and dominance of the campaign with the win in Monza.
