J&K Police Recover 350 Kg Of RDX, An AK-47, Ammunition From Faridabad After Arrested Doctor’s Tip

An AK-47 rifle was recovered from Dr Adeel’s locker at Government Medical College, Anantnag. His arrest led to another doctor’s detention for questioning.

Jammu and Kashmir Police have recovered two AK-47 rifles and 350 kilograms of RDX from Faridabad, Haryana, following disclosures made by the second doctor arrested in the ongoing investigation.

Earlier, an AK-47 rifle had been recovered from the locker of Dr Adeel, a faculty member at the Government Medical College in Anantnag. His arrest led authorities to another doctor, who was subsequently detained for questioning.

The latest recoveries point to a wider nexus under investigation, with security agencies working to trace the source and intended use of the weapons and explosives. Officials said the operation was conducted in close coordination with Haryana Police.

Further details and the official statement regarding the findings are awaited as investigators continue to probe possible links to terror financing and arms trafficking networks across state borders.
