‘Jamtara 2’ actor Sachin Chandwade passes away at 25 due to suicide - Report

His sudden passing has his fans in deep shock.

Sachin Chandwade found hanging at his Jalgaon home

As reported by Maharashtra Times, Sachin Chandwade was found hanging at his home on October 23, 2025. His family members discovered him and immediately rushed him to a nearby hospital. Despite their efforts, doctors could not save him. He was later moved to a hospital in Dhule after his condition worsened but passed away around 1.30 am the same night, October 24.

The actor balanced IT job and acting dreams

Sachin had been passionate about acting since childhood. Even while working full-time in the IT sector, he continued to chase his dream of performing.

The young actor hailed from Jalgaon’s Parola district and worked as a software engineer at Pune IT Park while also pursuing his dream of becoming an actor. His role in ‘Jamtara: Season 2’ brought him recognition and opened new doors in his acting career.

Sachin Chandwade was preparing for new film release

Just five days before his passing, Sachin had shared the motion poster of his upcoming Marathi film ‘Asurvan’. Directed by Sachin Ramchandra Ambat, the film stars Pooja Moily and Anuj Thakare and was scheduled for release later this year.

He had a key role in the project and had expressed excitement about it through his post on social media.Although not very active online, Sachin occasionally shared updates related to his work. One of his earlier posts, shared in September 2022, featured a picture from the sets of ‘Jamtara 2’.
