Jharkhand lifted the 15th Hockey India Junior Women National Championship 2025 with a 2-1 victory over Haryana in the final held at the District Sports Authority grounds in Kakinada on August 12. Haryana finished as runners-up, while Uttar Pradesh secured third place.
The two-week national tournament was hosted by the Kakinada District Sports Authority. Over 200 coaches, officials and team managers were felicitated during the closing ceremony.
MLC Karri Padmasri, Andhra Pradesh Hockey Association Secretary G. Harshavardhan, Kakinada District Sports Authority Kakinada District Collector S. Shan Mohan, Superintendent of Police G. Bindu Madhav presented the trophies to the winners.
