JK Tyre raises exports from Mexico unit to US

CHENNAI: JK Tyre is increasing exports from its manufacturing units in Mexico to America in view of the US imposing 50% tariff on goods coming from India. The company has two facilities in Mexico catering for Latin America, Brazil and US."Currently, 65% of tyres made in Mexico are used for the domestic . We are planning to increase exports from Mexico from 8% to 10% to 10% to 15% to the US," said MD Anshuman Singhania.
