Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) are a network of central schools established to provide quality education to talented children predominantly from rural areas in India. These schools are fully residential and co-educational, offering free education from Class 6 to 12. They are affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and are run by the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, an autonomous organisation under the Ministry of Education, Government of India.

  • Phase 1 Exam: December 13, 2025, at 11:30 AM
  • Phase 2 Exam: April 11, 2026, at 11:30 AM
  • Result Declaration:

JNVST class 6 admission eligibility criteria

To be eligible for the JNVST Class 6 admission, applicants must:

  • Be born between May 1, 2014, and July 31, 2016 (inclusive).
  • Be studying in Class 5 during the academic session 2025-26 in a recognised school.
  • Apply from the district where the JNV is located.
  • Not have previously appeared for the JNVST.
