Josh Allen gives honest thoughts on Stefon Diggs-Drake Maye pairing
On Monday June 17, Josh Allen shared his thoughts on the Diggs-Maye connection that had developed at New England's camp, as part of a media availability event at Buffalo Bills' training camp in Orchard Park, New York.
When asked, Josh Allen answered politely and to the point.
He said, “Diggs is a baller. Wherever he goes, he’s going to make plays. "I can't wait to see him working with Maye." According to Josh Allen, he continues to admire Stefon Diggs as "one of the best I’ve played with." Josh Allen was speaking publicly for the first time since Stefon Diggs was traded to the Houston Texans in April of 2025. The New England Patriots drafted Drake Maye in the 2024 Draft, and he is a rookie.

Stefon Diggs was traded from the Buffalo Bills to the Houston Texans on April 3, 2025, but just weeks later, Houston Texans flipped him to the New England Patriots. Now working with Drake Maye, the No. 3 overall pick in the 2024 Draft, Stefon Diggs is now expected to take on a veteran presence.
During Josh Allen's time, Stefon Diggs had over 5,000 yards and 37 touchdowns from 2020-2024. Together, Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs were one of the most elite QB-WR in the league. Now, Stefon Diggs will try to build something new with Drake Maye, who is still adjusting to the NFL.Josh Allen added, “They’re going to be fun to watch.
