In an emotional chat with Bollywood Bubble, actress Kajol reminisced about a very personal moment of her life, one in which her belief in a higher power briefly escaped her. A known strong woman both in and out of reality, the actress openly shared how she had ended up doubting everything she stood for following a painful ordeal she had decided against sharing in detail.'Why did this have to happen at all?"When asked whether she had ever questioned the existence or justice of God, Kajol did not hesitate to say that she had. "Yes, absolutely," she said. "There was a moment where everything I believed in, all my 'shraddha' and praying, seemed not to count." She explained how this was not a feeling of "why me? but a deeper, more existential type of confusion.The actress was left wondering why this could happen to her despite her complete commitment.The 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge' actress clarified that her spiritual disillusionment lasted for around a week. It was a period of queries, melancholy, and emotional stress. "It wasn't easy. I was really struggling," she acknowledged. But as the days went by, Kajol started to get back on her feet and look for meaning in the mayhem. "I thought perhaps there was a reason. Perhaps it wasn't destined to be.Perhaps the universe had something else in mind," she said with a sense of hard-won tranquility.
