General Education Minister V. Sivankutty on Monday inaugurated the construction of a new housing project with 200 units at Karimadom in the capital. Mayor Arya Rajendran presided over the function.
In the first phase, a flat complex with 128 houses will be constructed at a cost of ₹27 crore from the Thiruvananthapuram Corporation’s funds. New housing projects are also set to be launched in Mathippuram, Vallakadavu and Poonkulam, with a total of 700 housing units across the three projects.
