SHIVAMOGGA: Congress MLAGopal Krishna Belur on Monday asked the govt to order a probe into alleged corruption in the housing department. He also asked Congress MLA B.R. Patil, who serves as vice chairman of the Karnataka State Policy and Planning Commission, to resign.Gopal Krishna told reporters that Patil should step down and cooperate with investigations, emphasising that it is the appropriate course of action.He referenced previous instances where ministers resigned following scams, suggesting that the same protocol should be followed in this case. He further stated that Patil could resume his position if he is cleared in the investigation.
