Karnataka NEET PG counselling 2025: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) is set to release the provisional seat allotment result for round 2 of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2025 counselling tomorrow, December 22, 2025, after 6 pm.

The result date has been revised from the earlier announced schedule of December 23, 2025.Candidates who participated in the Karnataka NEET PG 2025 round 2 counselling will be able to access their provisional allotment status through the official KEA website at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea/.According to KEA, the final round 2 seat allotment result will be published on December 24, 2025. The allotment process will be re-run to accommodate seats that become available due to candidates opting for seats allotted through the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).

The authority has clarified that this re-allotment will be carried out based on the choices already submitted by candidates, and no fresh option entry or modification will be allowed.

Surrender of KEA-allotted seats for MCC admissions

Candidates who intend to accept seats allotted through the second round of MCC counselling must surrender their KEA-allotted seats in person at the KEA office in Bengaluru by 4 pm on December 23.For candidates who have already paid the KEA counselling fee, an amount of Rs 25,000 will be deducted, and the remaining balance will be refunded within one day.

Candidates who have not paid the fee will be required to deposit Rs 25,000 at the time of seat surrender.

Revised eligibility for Karnataka NEET PG 2025 round 3

KEA has also updated the eligibility criteria for participation in round 3 of Karnataka NEET PG 2025 counselling, following recent orders of the High Court. As per the revised guidelines, candidates who are allotted and admitted to seats in round 2 will now be eligible to participate in round 3 for seat upgradation.Earlier, candidates allotted clinical seats in the second round were not permitted to take part in the third round, as per the NEET PG 2025 information bulletin. KEA has clarified that candidates allotted seats in round 2 must complete the admission process by paying the prescribed fee, regardless of the seat category.The authority further noted that the round 2 counselling schedule and instructions, issued on December 8, December 13, and revised on December 17, will continue to apply to the ongoing counselling process.
