Karrotu Satyam wins award for promoting walking

Karrotu Satyam Regional Councillor-3 of Walkers International (District 102), received the ‘Best Regional Councillor’ award from Walkers International president M. Prabhavati during the walkers convention organised in Visakhapatnam on Sunday.

She congratulated Mr. Satyam for promoting awareness about walking across all mandals in Vizianagaram district.

Mr. Satyam said that regular walking enables people to lead healthy lives even in old age. He highlighted that doctors also strongly advocate walking for protection against diseases like cancer, heart problems, obesity and others.

Several representatives of walkers associations congratulated Mr. Satyam for being awarded the prestigious award.
