Karrueche Tran fuels wild romance buzz as Deion Sanders dating rumors heat up after hospital scenes

Karrueche Tran, the 37-year-old actress known for Claws, hinted she’s dating and is enjoying it during an appearance on the What’s Next with J. Ryan podcast on August 28, 2025. She smiled and plainly said, “Yeah, I’m dating.

” When asked if she was enjoying it, she replied simply, “If I wasn’t having fun, I wouldn’t be in it.” While she didn’t name Deion Sanders directly, this comes soon after dating rumors sparked by her being seen at the side of Deion Sanders, the 57-year-old Colorado Buffaloes coach, during his cancer treatment.

Karrueche Tran confirms she is dating and enjoying life

On Thursday, August 28, 2025, Karrueche Tran appeared on the What’s Next with J. Ryan podcast along with her friend Christina Milian. Host J. Ryan asked her, “Is she dating right now?” and joked about her interest in football.

Christina Milian chimed in, “Touchdown!” Then Tran laughed and said, “Yeah, I’m dating.” When pressed if she was having fun, she answered, “Yeah … If I wasn’t having fun, I wouldn’t be in it.” She added that she’s at a point in her life where she knows what she wants.“I’ve dated a lot. Young, old,” she said. And she made it clear she’s not wasting time if she’s not happy, she’d rather be “at home… in bed at 9 o’clock doing my own thing.”

Karrueche Tran linked to Deion Sanders after hospital appearance

Dating rumors started earlier when Karrueche Tran appeared in a video by Well Off Media, the media company run by Deion Sanders Jr., in July 2025. The video, titled “For Your Glory (Part 1),” showed Tran tearfully at the hospital by Deion Sanders’ side while he underwent bladder removal surgery to treat bladder cancer. She explained the surgery’s purpose to fully remove the cancer and even held his hand as he was wheeled in.

Deion Sanders later revealed he’s now cancer-free. On July 31, 2025, Sanders faced questions about Tran on the Say What Needs to Be Said podcast with Asante Samuel. Samuel asked, “Everyone seen Karrueche Tran by your side … Everyone wants to know what that friendship is.” Deion Sanders laughed it off and joked the connection was bad: “We got a bad connection,” he said. “I can’t hear you.”More recently, rumors of possible baby news surfaced after Karrueche Tran made a cryptic online post with the phrase “Shut the F*ck up,” following speculation. Neither she nor Deion Sanders has commented on those rumors.
