Check new schedule and details here

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has announced revisions to the Round 2 counselling schedule for KCET 2025, affecting thousands of students seeking admission to undergraduate programs across the state.

This update comes as part of KEA’s efforts to streamline seat allocation for BE, BTech, BArch, BPharm, and select BSc courses. Candidates are advised to strictly follow the revised schedule to avoid forfeiting their allotted seats. The authority has also clarified payment deadlines and reporting requirements, ensuring that students complete all necessary steps in time.

KCET revised schedule and payment details

Students who have been allotted seats under Choice-1 and Choice-2 options must complete the seat acceptance payment by September 3, 2025.

Those selecting Choice-3 are required to pay a caution deposit of ₹10,000 by the same date. Payments can be made through the official KEA portal: cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.

Seat confirmation and reporting

Candidates who have completed payment for Choice-1 seats must download their seat confirmation slip by 5:30 PM on September 4, 2025, and report to the allotted college before 6:30 PM the same day. They must carry original documents, two photocopies, and a mobile device for verification.

Failure to comply with these deadlines may result in cancellation of the allotted seat.

Documents required for admission

Under this section, you can detail the original documents and photocopies students must carry while reporting to the allotted college. The following documents are required for admission:

  • KCET 2025 rank card
  • 10th standard mark sheet and certificate
  • 12th standard mark sheet and certificate
  • Caste/category certificate (if applicable)
  • Domicile certificate
  • ID proof (Aadhaar card, passport, or any government-issued ID)
  • Two photocopies of all the above documents
  • Passport-size photographs (as required by the college)

Candidates are advised to regularly check the official KEA website for the latest updates and notifications to stay informed about any changes in the counselling process. It is important to ensure that all personal and academic details match the official documents before making payments or reporting to the allotted college, as discrepancies may lead to cancellation of the seat. For any doubts or issues related to payment, seat allotment, or reporting, students should contact the KEA helpdesk to seek clarification and avoid last-minute problems.
