With the Bihar Assembly elections approaching, political analysts speculate on what Tej Pratap Yadav’s next move might be following his expulsion from the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and his family. The silence of Tej Pratap, after his father Lalu Prasad Yadav removed him from both the party and family over his relationship with Anushka Yadav, has only deepened the intrigue.

Meanwhile, his brother Tejashwi Yadav, often seen as the face of the RJD, has publicly backed their father’s decision, further fueling speculation about possible shifts in the political landscape.

According to reports, Tej Pratap may soon make a significant political move. With the RJD shutting its doors on him, there are some reports which suggest that he could float a new political outfit.

Reports suggest his silence may be a strategic pause as he weighs his next steps. He is reportedly considering two possible names for his new party: Secular Sevak Sangh (DSS) and Chhatra Janshakti Parishad (CJP) — both of which he had previously introduced as platforms opposing the RSS and as a youth organisation, respectively.

Lalu Prasad Yadav’s decision to expel Tej Pratap Yadav from both the RJD and the family marks a significant setback for Tej Pratap ahead of the upcoming elections. Earlier, he has reportedly expressed feeling sidelined within the party and has frequently made statements at odds with the RJD’s official stance, particularly questioning the leadership of his younger brother, Tejashwi Yadav.

Tej Pratap Yadav’s controversial actions have often created challenges for the RJD and the Lalu Prasad Yadav family. Now, banned from the party for six years and estranged from his family, he is widely believed to be preparing to carve out his own political path, building a distinct ideology and support base.

Tej Pratap Yadav founded the Secular Sevak Sangh (DSS) in 2015 to challenge the RSS both ideologically and practically, promoting mutual harmony and Sarvadharma Sambhaav. In 2021, he established the Chhatra Janshakti Parishad (CJP) as a non-political youth organisation.

Tej Pratap Yadav has ignited a political storm after recently posting photos on social media revealing a relationship with Anushka Yadav that has lasted since 2013. The images quickly spread online, drawing widespread attention to their longstanding bond.

This revelation comes seven years after Tej Pratap’s highly publicized marriage to Aishwarya Rai on May 12, 2018, which ended in just five months.

In response to the growing backlash on social media, Tej Pratap claimed his account had been hacked, alleging it was a conspiracy by opponents to tarnish his family’s image.

Lalu Prasad Yadav confirmed the authenticity of the released messages and photos, stating that Tej Pratap’s actions were contrary to the family’s values. As a result, Lalu expelled Tej Pratap from the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and distanced him from the family, citing his lack of moral values and irresponsible behavior.
