Kim Jong Kook recently shed some light on his secretive wedding that took place earlier this month, on September 5. The star shared a video on his page that consisted of a short guest list of all of the celebrities that were present on his special day; however, a notable name was missing, leaving fans wondering about what happened.

Kim Jong Kook’s wedding plans have been nothing short of a secretive mission. From not revealing who his fiancée is to ensuring that his celebrity friends only come to the wedding event by themselves without their managers, the star ensured to leave no stone unturned. Now, slowly, the singer is revealing minor details about his private life and his wedding as well. On September 11, he uploaded a video about preparing for the wedding on his online channel with the title ‘The Day the Tiger Gets Married’. The star revealed the number of guests he had chosen to invite to the wedding. He shared that Yoo Jae Suk was there to attend as well as officiate the wedding. Other than him, names like Ji Suk Jin, Haha, Song Ji Hyo, Yang Se Chan, and PD Choi Hyung In; Cha Tae Hyun, Jang Hyuk, and Hong Kyung Min, Joo Woo Jae, Kang Hoon, Seo Jang Hoon, Jonathan, and Shorry, were all present at the event. He also revealed that he invited his stylist, manager, lawyer, as well as his friends from his workout group. In this list, however, Lee Kwang Soo was missing, who has been a part of the ‘Running Man’ cast for the past 10 years and has worked closely with Jong Kook. As per a report from MyDaily, however, it was revealed that due to scheduling conflicts that could not be altered, the TV personality was unable to attend his dear friend’s wedding.

An official statement from the report also read, “Lee Kwang-soo was in Vietnam at the time for promotions of his film Love Barista. The promotional schedule had already been set before he learned of the wedding”.
