KLETU graduation ceremony on Saturday

KLE Technological University (KLE Tech), Hubballi, previously known as B.V. Bhoomaraddi College of Engineering and Technology (BVB), will hold its Seventh Convocation Ceremony will be held on December 13.

In the convocation to be held at Dr. Prabhakar Kore Sports Arena on KLET U campus, a total of 2,466 students—including undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD candidates will be awarded their degrees.

In all, 21 gold medals, including 15 for graduate candidates and six for postgraduate candidates, will be presented. Silver medals for 15 graduate and seven postgraduate candidates will be presented. Additionally, the Dr. S.S. Bhavikatti Gold Medal will be awarded to the topper in Civil Department.

Seetarama (Swamy) Kotagiri, Chief Executive Officer of Magna International, one of the world’s largest and most innovative automotive and mobility technology companies, will be the chief guest for the convocation. Mr. Kotagiri is an alumnus of BVB College of Engineering and Technology.

To ensure greater convenience for students, this year, KLE Technological University will hold the distribution of degree certificates for students of the Dr. M. S. Sheshagiri Campus in Belagavi on December 14. Chancellor of KLE Technological University, Hubballi and chairman, KLE Society Prabhakar Kore will preside, the release said.

Pro Chancellor Prof. Ashok Shettar; Vice-Chancellor Prof. Prakash Tewari; Registrar Prof. Basavaraj Anami, and others will be present.
