Krishnamma Harathi at Patalaganga on Friday

All arrangements have been made for the ‘Krishnamma Harathi’ at the Patalganga on Friday (October 31) as part of Karthika Masam festivities.

Sri Bhramaramba Mallikarjuna Swamy temple Executive Officer M. Srinivasa Rao on Thursday said a special puja would be performed to the Krishna river and ‘sare’ and 10 kinds of Harathis would be offered to Goddess Krishnaveni on the occasion. Pujas would be performed at the statue of Krishnaveni at Patalaganga.

As per tradition, Eka Harathi, Netra Harathi, Bilva Harathi, Naga Harathi, Pancha Harathi, Sadvojatadi Harathi, Kumba Harathi, Nakshatra Harathi, Radha Harathi, and Karpura Harathi will be offered to the river.
