Kritika Kamra: You should do your first date during your hair coloring session

Kritika Kamra believes in making the most of her time—even during beauty routines. The actress, who enjoys her moments in the vanity chair and loves experimenting with hair colour, admits that the entire colouring process can be quite time-consuming.

And she has a clever suggestion for how to put that time to good use. She tells us, "I think dates should happen over these hair colour sessions. Because after the colour is applied you have to sit for the process to get complete. There's so much time so I think it is a great place for your first dates. You can also see how the partner copes up seeing you in the crazy avatar where your hair is wrapped in foils. We will test their patience." Kritika, who shares a close bond with The Ba***ds of Bollywood actress Anya Singh, reveals that the two often go for hair colouring sessions together. "She's a big hair colour fan. We did a show where we played sisters and we kind of took that seriously (laughs). It's fun to go hair-color with her at the salon and just gossip." Recalling her early experiences with hair colour, the Saare Jahan Se Accha actress—who recently attended the L'Oreal Professionnel Hair Colour Coders 2025 event—shared, "I was a little late to this party as I was someone who loved her natural hair colour. The first time I did it I failed to pick the correct shade. Now I am hooked onto it. For my last few projects which were period dramas I couldn’t colour my hair. I do feel that hair plays a very important part when it comes to looking your character on screen.
