Kurnool BJP unit pays tributes to Syama Prasad Mookerjee

The BJP Kurnool district unit on Monday paid tributes to Jana Sangh’s founding member Syama Prasad Mookerjee on his 73rd death anniversary.

BJP district unit president Akkammthota Ramakrishna offered floral tributes to the photo of Syama Prasad Mookerjee and planted saplings at Kowthalam mandal of the district. He said that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), the successor to the Jana Sangh, is the largest party in the country due to the efforts of Mr. Mookerjee.

Mr. Ramakrishna said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is following the footsteps of Mr. Mookerjee and steering the country on the path of development. He urged the youth to take Mr. Mookerjee as a role model.

BJP Kowthalam mandal president Venkanna and other leaders also participated.
