LeBron James has taken up a new sport. On the golf course, he has been spotted sharing footage of himself swinging a club and jokingly acknowledging how much he loves the game. It all started on July 4, when he stated on social media that it was only his second day "of officially trying this." That day, the NBA pro reportedly displayed a stiff, arm-heavy swing that instantly drew criticism. Given that he was new to the sport, his drives weren't too bad. A video of his most recent swing was also shared, and he described golf as "a mind f**k to say the least."

In his Instagram post, he also mentioned that it was only Day 2 and implied that it would require patience and humility to learn to play golf. This caused a lot of his fellow NBA players to react. Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry was one of them.

His humorous and playful mimicry of LeBron James’ swing during this year's Lake Tahoe tournament immediately gained attention. He later said:“Unbelievable impersonation of my guy Bron’s follow-through in the golf swing. But we all want to welcome LeBron James to the world of golf because the game needs you, big fella.”

We’ve been waiting for you.”The long-standing rivalry between the two future Hall of Famers took on a funny twist because of the light-hearted exchange. Also read: Is LeBron James switching to golf?
