Jana Sena Party (JSP) president and Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan has called for celebration on June 4 to mark the end of the YSR Congress Party’s (YSRCP) “misrule,” and asks the cadre to organise a digital campaign on it on the social media.

In a press release, Mr. Pawan Kalyan said the YSRCP’s defeat in the 2024 elections was like a festival as people suffered a lot under it’s “anarchic rule.”

He observed that a new chapter of good governance began with the NDA coming to power under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu.

To mark, what he described as an auspicious occasion (declaration of the results on June 4, 2024), Mr. Pawan Kalyan instructed the party’s rank and file to celebrate it in a grand manner with the theme, One Year of Good Governance, by conducting various events.

He suggested that the “One year since the end of misrule” should be celebrated by lighting lamps and bursting crackers.
