Lily Collins breaks down as she finally meets idol Victoria Beckham on The Tonight Show

Lily Collins had an emotional on-air moment when she unexpectedly met her style icon Victoria Beckham during The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The Emily in Paris star was chatting about always being in her “Posh era” when Fallon surprised her with Victoria’s grand entrance.

Lily instantly teared up, admitting she had even copied Victoria’s iconic bob haircut years ago.

The emotional meeting

Fallon began by asking Lily if she still considered herself in her Posh-inspired phase. Lily laughed and responded, “I hope I never leave my Posh era.” When Fallon showed a photo of both women striking similar poses, Lily joked that Posh would “always do it better.”Moments later, her dream came true as Victoria walked onstage.

Lily gasped, stood up, and covered her face in shocked joy before hugging her idol. They even recreated their iconic pose together, flashing peace signs. Victoria then complimented Lily’s hair, saying it looked “shinier,” to which Lily quickly replied, “No, no, no… I could never out-shine you.”Fallon later asked Victoria about her nickname. She explained, “I was given that nickname because I used to like nice clothes and nice restaurants,” adding that it even helped her secure a bigger wardrobe budget during her Spice Girls days.

Family life and Phil Collins’ musical touch

Lily also spoke about motherhood and revealed that her 74-year-old father, Phil Collins, entertains her 10-month-old daughter by playing classics like In the Air Tonight. She shared the sweet detail with a smile, offering a glimpse into her family’s musical world.
