Candidates List for Bihar Elections 2025: Union Minister Chirag Paswan’s Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) LJP (RV), an NDA ally, on Wednesday released its first list of 14 candidates for the upcoming Bihar assembly elections. The party’s state unit chief, Raju Tiwary, will contest from Govindganj in East Champaran, while senior leader Hulas Pandey has been fielded from Brahampur in Buxar district. According to the NDA’s seat-sharing formula, the LJP (RV) has been allotted 29 constituencies, while the BJP and JD(U) will contest 101 seats each.

The list also includes Sanjay Kumar Singh from Simri Bakhtiyarpur, Vishnu Dev Paswan from Darauli, Simant Mrinal from Garkha, Surendra Kumar from Sahebpur Kamal, and Babulal Saurya from Parbatta. Other candidates are Mithun Kumar (Nath Nagar), Sunil Kumar (Paliganj), Rajeev Ranjan Singh (Dehri), Sangeeta Devi (Balrampur), Rani Kumari (Makhdumpur), and Prakash Chandra (Obra).

Party sources said the remaining 15 candidates will be announced soon. Smaller NDA allies Hindustani Awami Morcha (HAM) and Rashtriya Lok Morcha (RLM) have received six seats each. Elections for the 243-member Bihar assembly are scheduled for November 6 and 11, with counting to be held on November 14.
