Andhra Pradesh Human Resources Development Minister Nara Lokesh concluded his seven-day tour of Australia, covering four major cities and engaging with universities, industries, India–Australia councils, seafood trade bodies, and sports complexes.
Describing the visit as a “deeply insightful journey,” on Saturday, Mr. Lokesh in his official X handle said the trip strengthened Andhra Pradesh’s prospects for global collaborations in education, research, and industry.
“As we drive towards a $2.4 trillion economy, strengthening our workforce, advancing R&D, and developing skilled talent remain key,” he said.
Mr. Lokesh also emphasised the untapped potential of sports as a growing economic sector, noting that the State could leverage its youth talent and infrastructure for new opportunities. “I return enriched by learnings, confident that many of these discussions will soon translate into meaningful partnerships for Andhra Pradesh,” he added.
