The 'Love Is Blind' season 10 reunion had no shortage of drama, but nothing quite prepared the cast or the viewers for what Devonta Anderson had to say before the episode wrapped.

What happened between Devonta Anderson and Brittany Wicker?

When fans last saw Brittany Wicker and Devonta Anderson in the finale, he had just confessed to having doubts at the altar, calling off their wedding.

At the reunion, which took place on Wednesday, March 11, both confirmed that moment was also the last time they saw each other in person.Brittany did not hold back. "I think that he didn't want to hurt my feelings and just be honest with me," she explained. "I feel like as soon as he walked out of my door, he was done with the relationship, and he just didn't want to say that to me. And he still dragged it out for weeks."Nearly three weeks after filming wrapped, she reached out to ask Devonta directly if he wanted to end things, to which he said he was willing to work on the relationship.

While Devonta told her he was leaving for a work trip, he had actually travelled to Austin, Texas, to attend a concert with fellow cast members Bri, Ashley, and Prianka. Brittany only found out through castmate Amber after word had spread through the group."Then a few days after he got back from his 'work trip,' he came over, and he said he felt like he couldn't show up for me and disappeared," she said.

Devonta, who has previously acknowledged struggling with being direct, owned up to the dishonesty. "I should have been more honest with them," he said. "I was still processing. In my head, it was over. I don't think the words had come out directly. And with that trip to Austin, there was no ill will."Brittany's father, watching from the audience, addressed Devonta directly with words that landed heavily in the room.
