‘When I heard it’s opposite John Abraham, I immediately said yes’

Actress Madhurima Tuli is all set to be seen in the action-thriller Tehran, where she plays Kajal Singhania opposite John Abraham. Talking about her role, Madhurima shared that this character is very different from what she has portrayed before. In a chat with Bollywood Bubble, she said, “In Tehran, my role is quite different and fresh compared to my past roles. I’ve played fictional characters like a warrior princess or a cop. But here, since it’s based on true events, I’m playing a real-life character. Not inspired by anyone specifically, but it’s so relatable.”Madhurima revealed that she agreed to the film instantly. “Tehran—the whole setup was so strong, whether it was my co-actors, the production house Maddock Films, or the storyline. It’s based on true events. Everything was very good. So I had no reason to say no to it. And when I heard that it’s opposite John Abraham, I immediately said yes.”She believes Tehran gave her a chance to deliver a grounded and emotional performance, portraying the silent strength of women who support their loved ones on the frontlines.
