Maharashtra FYJC 2025 merit list 2025: The Maharashtra School Education Department has released the first provisional general merit list for First-Year Junior College (FYJC) admissions 2025 today, June 6, 2025.
The list is now accessible on the official portal, mahafyjcadmissions.in, where registered students can log in and check their merit status.The merit list was originally scheduled for release on June 5, 2025, but was delayed by a day due to an extension in the registration deadline. As of now, the list includes only those candidates who have scored between 400 and 500 marks. Students are also advised to verify their personal details and scores and raise objections if discrepancies are found.Merit list released for over 10 lakh applicantsThis year, approximately 10.85 lakh students have applied for admission into over 20.43 lakh seats available across 9,281 junior colleges in Maharashtra. The FYJC admission process is being conducted through a centralised admission procedure (CAP) across eight regional divisions — Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur, Nashik, Kolhapur, Amravati, Latur, and Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar.
Notably, the Konkan division is excluded from the CAP process for the 2025 cycle.The provisional merit list is an important milestone in the FYJC admission process, as it provides students with a clear idea of their standing before the final seat allotment.
