Sunny Deol's bond with Salman Khan

For all, Sunny has always come across as a soft, humbly down-to-earth personality. Salman Khan himself took to saying a few things about how he knew Sunny, very special bond he had known him for, and called him one of the most tranquil and grounded people within the film industry.

Salman made one light-hearted little story about how during shooting Sunny was so disinterested-in fact, most actors would be excited and wanting to hear the latest news-whilst he sat there waiting for the shooting to begin, in utter disinterest in everything else.

Dharmendra- “Main hota toh ladki ke andar se nikal jaata.”

Dharmendra, moreover, confirmed this characteristic, adding that since early on, Sunny had always been shy or rather couldn’t express himself. Even while filming, Dharmendra said, he would try to encourage Sunny to do so more, yet Sunny’s timidity shone through. As an anecdotal example, Dharmendra recounted one time while filming a romantic song with

, that he asked Sunny to embrace her. Sunny complied with an awkward and uncertain approach that clearly wasn’t convincing.

Dharmendra quipped, 'Main hota toh ladki ke andar se nikal jaata', to which everyone on set roared with laughter about this being one of those delightful moments saved from the dreariness of filming.Dharmendra also acted alongside Salman Khan in the film 'Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya', directed by Sohail Khan, with Salman Khan playing Suraj while Dharmendra played Thakur Ajay Singh, with Kajol, Arbaaz Khan, and Anjala Zaveri. Also, they can be seen together on the soundtrack 'Rafta Rafta' for the film 'Yamla Pagla Deewana.'

What's next for Sunny Deol

On the work front Sunny Deol is clearly in a renewed phase of momentum. He will be seen in 'Border 2' with Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh and Ahan Shetty. He also has 'Lahore 1947', 'Gabru' and 'Ramayana' on the cards.
