Former BJP MP Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur asserted that the 2008 Malegaon blasts were a conspiracy by the Congress, and it should be tried for treason, as she received a rousing welcome in Bhopal on Sunday.

Speaking to reporters, the former Bhopal MP said the verdict, acquitting her and all other accused, was a tight slap in the face of those who tried to raise the "saffron terror" bogey in the case.
