Malayalam period-folk-horror-thriller Bramayugam, directed by Rahul Sadasivan and starring Mammootty, will be screened at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles on February 12, 2026, as part of the "Where the Forest Meets the Sea: Folklore from Around the World" film series.

The film series takes place from January 10 to February 12. The movie, produced by Night Shift Studios and YNOT studios, also stars Arjun Asokan and Siddharth Bharathan.
The 74-year-old actor shared the news on his X (formerly Twitter) handle on Friday. “Excited to share that #Bramayugam will be screened as the only Indian film at the Academy Museum’s “Where the Forest Meets the Sea” film series in Los Angeles on February 12, 2026 @AcademyMuseum. Another moment of pride for the entire team behind #Bramayugam!” the post says.
Bramayugam deals with Thevan (Arjun), who escapes slavery and enters Kodumon Potty’s (Mammootty) mansion. Soon, he realises he is stuck in the mansion with Potti and his cook, played by Siddharth.
On Tuesday (November 4), Mammootty was announced as the Kerala State Film Awards 2024 Best Actor for his chilling performance in the film. Siddharth shared the Best Character Actor (Male) award with Soubin Shahir for Manjummel Boys. Christo Xavier won the Best Background Music award for the film.
Rahul Sadasivan’s Diés Iraé is running successfully in theatres now.
