Man arrested with brown sugar in Hazaribag

Hazaribag: A man was arrested with 10.2 grams of brown sugar in Keredari, the police said on Tuesday. The accused Rohit Kumar is a resident of Jordag village. The contraband was kept in his possession in 36 small packets.

He was arrested by a team of cops from Keredari police station and Pagar outpost.Stating that Rohit was associated with the sale of contraband for some time now, Pagar outpost in-charge Dinesh Kumar Mandal said he was arrested from Birsa Munda Chowk in Mundatoli area in Jordag based on a tip-off. The team apprehended three men at the spot. “Two were released after questioning, while Rohit was arrested when drugs were recovered from his possession," he said.
