Man Chased Inside Shop, Stabbed Brutally With Machetes In Karnataka; Horror Caught On Cam

The video of the horrific attack was caught on the CCTV in the spot, which showed the sheer brutality of the incident that took place in Karnataka's Koppal.

A man was brutally killed with machetes by a group of people inside a bakery shop in Karnataka’s Koppal district, the sequence of which was captured on CCTV.

The killing took place on May 31 over an alleged property dispute, officials said.

How Did The Attack Take Place?

The deceased was identified as Chenappa Narinal, who screamed for his life as he ran into the shop to save himself. However, the confines of the wall could not assure him of safety as the people attacked him. Two of the attackers were seen striking him with machetes, while another individual attacked the victim on his head with a wooden log.

The video further showed the man running in the shop as the attackers chased him full circle. The victim then ran out of the bakery, after which he was stabbed by two to three attackers.

After the killing, the assailants left the spot. However, the police nabbed at least seven people, who were identified as Pramod, Nagaraj, Pradeep, Ravi, Gautam, and two Manjunaths.

The police have said that an operation to nab other individuals involved in the murder is underway.

Further investigation into the matter is underway.

BJP Flags Law And Order Problem

BJP spokesperson Shehzad Poonawalla took to X and lashed out at the law and order in the state, while attacking Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and his deputy DK Shivakumar.

“Law and Order has completely failed in Karnataka. 1) Brutal murder in Koppal caught on camera- v close to Police station. 2) Minor girl gangraped and blackmailed in Belagavi. Where is Ladki Hoon ecosystem ? Karnataka CM & Dy CM busy in chair ki ladai ! Series of brutal rapes have rocked Karnataka but Congress doesn’t care. Who will care for common man & women safety?" the BJP leader said.
